It stands on a small hill and offers the most beautiful view across the meadows into the lush greenery.\n\nThe Haus der Kunst<\/a> presents an interdisciplinary program with contemporary artistic contributions. But a look at the neoclassical building, which is steeped in history, is also very interesting.\n\nBehind the Haus der Kunst lies the idyllic Japanese teahouse Kanshoan<\/a> on a small island in the Eisbach. Traditional tea ceremonies are performed. Those with a little patience will certainly get their money's worth here.\n\nEisbachwelle - world-famous attraction in Munich\n\nAn incomparable attraction is the Eisbachwelle<\/a>, which makes surfing in the city possible even in winter. In summer, it is the number one tourist attraction, with the Eisbach surfers plunging into the roaring waters and captivating the crowds with their skills as they watch.\n\nLess well known is the little Eisbach wave E2<\/a>. It is only a few minutes away from the big wave and is a paradise for beginners.\n\nThe China Tower<\/a> or Chinese Tower, as the locals call it, is not only the beautiful landmark of the English Garden.\n\nDirectly on site is also the very popular beer garden<\/a> with brass band music, beer and snacks.\n\u200c\u200c\nThe Rumfordschloessl<\/a> ghe building just around the corner has been used as an officers' mess since 1791. Today it is a nature and cultural venue.\n\nThe Kleinhesseloher See<\/a> is a wonderful place to go for a walk and take a short trip on a pedal boat or rowing boat. When the lake is frozen over in winter, ice hockey, ice skating and curling take place.\n\nIf you are thirsty, you can stop off at the Seehaus<\/a> or in the beer garden and let your gaze wander over the lake.\n\nThe dam<\/a> in the northern part of the English Garden was built between 1918 and 1924. It offers a magnificent view of the Isar in both directions.\n\nIt's a wonderful place to go for a walk without being surrounded by crowds of tourists.\n\nThe northern part of the English Garden<\/a> is perfect for anyone looking for some peace and seclusion. The further north you go, the less busy it gets. Here you can even find a relatively secluded spot to relax.\nThe amphitheater<\/a> has also been located in the northern section since 1985. The semicircular seating area is arranged around the stage like a staircase.
