Tucherpark Munich<\/strong> is located directly next to the English Garden and for decades has been one of the most exciting places where Munich’s urban history, architecture and nature come together. What was once an exclusive banking district with large administrative buildings is now developing into a modern urban quarter. The emerging Eisbachviertel Munich<\/strong> will give the area a completely new character, combining living, working and leisure in a new way. <\/p>\n

History and development of the Tucherpark<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Tucherpark was developed by Bayerische Vereinsbank in the 1960s. The striking administration building with its filigree architecture was a symbol of economic strength – complemented by exceptional facilities such as an indoor swimming pool and sports facilities for employees. <\/p>\n

Other striking buildings were added later, including the former IBM building<\/strong>, which for a long time underlined the innovative strength and technological importance of the district.<\/p>\n

The renowned Hilton Hotel am Tucherpark<\/strong> still dominates the image of the area today and is a popular starting point for guests thanks to its direct proximity to the English Garden. The hotel is currently closed and the reopening of the completely renovated building is planned for 2029. <\/p>\n

Pure nature – why Tucherpark is so unique<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Tucherpark borders directly on the green meadows of the English Garden and is located directly on the Eisbach. This creates a special mix of urban development, peaceful parkland and a natural atmosphere. Walks, jogging routes and views of the Eisbach are part of everyday life here. <\/p>\n

At the same time, the area is centrally located between Tivolistra\u00dfe, Hirschau and Kleinhesseloher See – ideal for anyone who appreciates both the city and nature.<\/p>\n

A large part of Tucherpark<\/strong> will be transformed into the Eisbachviertel Munich<\/strong> as part of the new development. A lively, sustainable quarter is being created here with around 600 new apartments<\/g>, office space, green areas and social facilities. The aim is to create a modern, urban environment that nevertheless remains closely connected to the natural surroundings of the English Garden. <\/p>\n
