Running event for everyone draws attention to organ donation
Running for life – DGCH Organ Shuttle Run mobilizes for organ donation throughout Germany

In order to raise public awareness of the vital issue of organ donation, the DGCH Organ Donation Run will take place again in 2025. The run, an initiative of the German
Society for Surgery as part of the DCK annual congress, already took place in Munich in 2019 and 2023 and was enthusiastically received by Munich’s runners and met with a great
media response.
The Presence Run is taking place in Munich again this year. The run was already fully booked two weeks before the event, with 1,000 participants having registered
for the 2.5, 5 or 10 km routes in Munich’s English Garden. In addition, the virtual DGCH Organ Shuttle Run is taking place in parallel throughout Germany and even worldwide.
When: The presence run will take place on March 27, 2025 in the English Garden in Munich. At the same time, runners in Germany and around the world can take part in the virtual race from March 27-30, 2025.
Where: English Garden Munich, starting line-up at the Chinese Tower
Arrival and parking: The available parking spaces at the Chinese Tower are limited. We therefore recommend traveling by public transport. Select “München, Chinesischer Turm” as your destination.
