Near the Chinese Tower, the Landesbund für Vogel- und Naturschutz in Bayern e. V. (LBV) celebrates a cheerful bat festival as part of the European Night of the Bats. You can expect games, craft activities and lots of fun for young and old. Food and drink will also be provided: there will be organic coffee and organic cake.
The date for the festival is 26.08.2023 at 14:00, ending at 18:30, admission free.
Additional bat tour in the evening
Inaudible to us, they scurry around in the twilight and at night. They recognize every obstacle and even tiny insects – the bats! On this evening walk in the English Garden, you will learn how they find their way in complete darkness and much more about the life of these fascinating animals. With a bit of luck, we can watch the bats on their hunting flights and catch their calls with the detector.
