English Garden bike rental

English Garden bike rental – on a journey of discovery by bike

One of the easiest ways to discover the English Garden is certainly by bike, especially when the weather is nice.

The paths are wide enough and you can get everywhere in no time at all.

You can also take a look at things that you might not see on foot.

You have various options for hiring or renting a bike. It is now also possible to hire eBikes.

The first port of call would be MUCbike right next to the Milchhäusl. The bike rental is located right next to the main entrance to the English Garden. You can only hire eBikes here, but that is of course very convenient. The tours are also suitable for children, as child seats are available.

The exact address would be: Veterinärstr. 16, 80539 Munich, 089/4524843-5 & 089/4524843-6 Web: MUCbike.

Axel from MUCbike: “We are open daily – weather permitting – from April to October, you can check the current opening hours via Google Maps. Group inquiries by e-mail or telephone.”

Suggestions for short trips by bike

For example, the Oberföhring weir and from there to the nearby restaurant St. Emmerams Mühle with its wonderful beer garden.

There is also the Aumeister beer garden in the far north.

You can also easily visit the northern part of the park.

Here are corners and sights such as the amphitheater that you might not get to very often.

Riding with the E-Scouter in the park is not permitted as the risk of accidents is too great.

If you are planning a longer tour in Munich, take a look at the Radlhauptstadt München page.
